Gravel roof project flood coat

After a through cleaning, we applied a flood coat of emulsion in two stages; 10 gallons per square at each pass. This is considered a lot of product by most manufactures and most contractors will offer a faster install “one pass” system. The lower mil systems cannot withstand the volume of water some of our Central Texas storms can drop in a short period of time. The increase hail size we can expect with our changing climate is another reason to go with a stronger system.
